Well I finally broke down and got a DA page. I first tried to get one back about two years ago, but DA had blocked a whole range of ip addresses that mine just happened to fall into. So I waited, and waited and waited, and forgot, and remembered and finally tired again, and WHOOSH! It worked this time. So here I am. yay!

It was good timing, because just last week I lost my day job (doing graphics for video slot machines). This has given me a lot of time to catch up on my art, and upload stuff. Just to get my gallery started I uploaded a few pieces from last year...mostly the pen & ink stuff which was commissioned by Mongoose publishing for their rpgs. Some of it is from the Conan rpg and turned out pretty good.

I hardly did any freelance this year, too busy with my 'real' job, but now that that debacle is over, I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things.

I guess just to introduce myself a little I should say something about my work. It probably seems a little eclectic, different styles, different media. I have a lot of influences and many different inspirations. Working as a freelancer forced me learn how to adapt to lots of different styles, but didn't really give me a chance to excel at any one thing, or develop my own style (as far as I would like at least). So that's what I'm working on now, getting better in general, but also getting better at drawing like me.

I probably won't post too much in the way of journals, but I'm hoping to keep the art flowing for a while!
